Administrative Secretary

Help keep UCAI organised, connected and moving forward. We are looking for a capable administrator to support our secretariat in Ugbodu.

Monthly salary₦70,000–₦100,000
Application deadline

For Ugbodu indigenes living in Ugbodu or willing to relocate. Qualified retirees are welcome. No upper age limit.

Requirements & how to apply

Who can apply

Suitably qualified Ugbodu indigenes, male or female, including retirees. You must live in Ugbodu or be willing to relocate.

Qualifications & experience

Minimum OND, HND, BSc or similar, in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Technology, Secretarial Administration, Computer Science, IT, Accounting, Economics, Management or a related field. Two to three years’ experience is preferred.

What you will do

  • Keep records and files.
  • Write letters and handle messages.
  • Prepare meeting notices and take minutes.
  • Support meetings, projects and programmes.
  • Follow up on decisions and action points.
  • Communicate with community stakeholders.

Skills needed

Good communication, record keeping and computer skills; familiarity with email, WhatsApp, Zoom and Microsoft Teams; honesty, discipline, confidentiality and teamwork.
